Reunion headquarters is the Academy Hotel at 8110 North Academy Blvd. near the South Gate Entrance to the Air Force Academy.  For clarification, the hotel is not located on the grounds of the Air Force Academy.  The hotel’s website is www.theacademyhotel.com.  Room rates are very attractive for your choice of a standard guest room, a deluxe guest room, or a Mountain View room.  Rates are $89.00, $99.00 and $109.00, respectively.  These rates are good for Sunday, June 2 through Sunday June 9.  Rates include a hot daily breakfast buffet with made to order omelet and waffle bar, HBO movies, high speed internet service, business center, fitness center, and free local phone calls.  An indoor swimming pool and bar and grill are available for your use as well.  You can make room reservations now by calling 1-719-598-5770 and use the phrase “OCS 2019 Reunion” to get the above rates.

2018 OCS at Fort Knox All Class Reunion will be held April 5 – 8:  The reunion hotel is the Westin Washington Dulles Airport Hotel in the Washington, D.C. area. To make room reservations call 703-793-3366 and ask for “Reservations”.  You will be transferred to the Reservation Desk and by using the term “OCS at Fort Knox” you will get the reunion room rate of $89.00 plus tax for a total of just under $100.  Breakfast for two is included in the room rate as is free parking, and there is no extra charge if you travel with your pets. For room reservations other than the April 5-8 dates the room rate is a steal at $124 plus tax.  By booking a room reservation you are also registering for the reunion as the reunion organizer, David Read of Class 27-68, will from time to time receive a listing of those who have reserved rooms.  The Westin’s website is www.westindulles.com.
Because there is such a variety of museums and memorials in the D. C. area to choose from there will be no organized tours like there was in Louisville and San Antonio.  The Westin offers a free shuttle to the nearby Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum or you can walk to it from the hotel.  You can also take the shuttle to the nearby Metro station and board a train to downtown D.C. to tour the museums and memorials.  The D.C. trolley system with its different routes offers a “Get on-Get off” daily pass to tour the numerous sights.
David will keep those individuals who make room reservations in the loop about the reunion agenda such as it will become.  As more details are worked out and finalized they will be posted here.  We hope to see you in D.C.

2018 Army OCS Alumni Association Reunion will be held March 25- 29: Some of our Fort Knox OCS Alumni will take advantage of the chance to get together in Columbus, GA in early May to renew old acquaintances and show loyalty to the OCS brotherhood as a whole by attending the Army OCS Alumni Association Reunion.  Details and registration information can be found at the OCS Alumni Association website.  The dates of the reunion are Mar 25th - Mar 29th.

2017 Reunion is canceled:  When we held our second all class reunion at San Antonio, Texas in August 2016 there seemed to be interest in holding a third reunion in the Washington, D.C. area in October 2017.  The reunion committee and Premier Reunion Services, LLC immediately began planning for that reunion. We had worked with Premier on the first two reunions with them doing the hard work of arranging hotels, side trips and banquets, and entering into contracts with the providers.  Volunteers did the programs and set up the hospitality room.
On December 12, 2016, we were informed by mail that Premier had ceased doing business and had canceled the hotel arrangements they had made for our group in the D.C. area. After consulting with the reunion committee, it was decided that we could not do a creditable job in recreating the 2017 reunion arrangements and so, the 2017 reunion is cancelled. Because of this recent development it is too early to say if there will be any future all class reunions.  We regret that a third reunion is not possible for 2017 but be assured the OCS at Fort Knox website and Facebook group will continue.
The group of us who have worked on this project thank each of you for your support and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.

2016 Reunion:  San Antonio, Texas August 18-21 2016.  Go to the OCS at Fort Knox Reunion Information Page from Premier Reunion Services for hotel and registration information.  The Sheraton Gunter was our reunion hotel.
