About the Armor OCS Class 25-67 Web Site
Last Updated on: Thursday, March 20, 2014 09:14:51 PM

Our purpose is to reconstruct a history and memories of OCS Class 25-67 of OC Company D2 that trained from March 1967 to August 1967 at Fort Knox and commissioned 81 2nd Lieutenants on 31 August 1967.  All former class members and cadre are welcome to the website.  Our focus is on Class 25 -67 but members of other classes are welcome and we should be able to get you in contact with someone from your class.

We need your help!  If you can volunteer to gather information, collect photos and locate classmates please email us. John Moore is the point of contact for OCS Class 25-67. As time and web space permits we will expand the information available on this site.

The web site was started when Doug Burmester from the Armor OCS project contacted John Moore of OCS Class 25-67. They started talking about their experiences and wondering about what became of former OCS graduates. John is serving as the webmaster of this site and coordinating the collection of material, photos, and recollections. We all appreciate the contributions former classmates have made to the history of OCS Class 25-67.

This website is one small part of the overall Armor OCS project.  About 10 years ago a project was started with the goal of reconstructing the class rosters of the OCS classes that trained at Fort Knox and were then commissioned as second lieutenants.  Since no written history existed of OCS at Fort Knox, it was then decided that having a written history should also be undertaken. Officer Candidate School was conducted at Fort Knox by the Armor School from 1965 to 1968.  The first class began training in Dec. 1965 and the last class graduated in Feb. 1968. 4203 officers completed OCS training in the 56 classes of OCS conducted at Fort Knox.  To help with the Armor OCS project visit the Armor OCS Website or contact Doug Burmester.      At some point  Once we have located enough former OCS classmates and have reconstructed a history we hope to form viable Armor OCS Association to preserve our history.

Our website has been online since March 2011.

Keep your contact information current. Update your mailing address/email address here.  For information on other Armor OCS classes visit the Armor OCS Website or contact Doug Burmester.
